- A sustainable rate for the farmers. We participate in a direct trade model which means we have traveled and visited with the farmers to ensure they are receiving a respectable rate for their beans. Direct trade is oftened referred to as "fairer than fair trade" because there is no cost to the farmer to have this varification done.
